Advantage Credit Union, the largest locally owned credit union in Richland County, has chosen Camille Grayson to succeed former CEO Bob Grove, who retired in the fall of 2021. Grove served as the credit union’s CEO for 16 years.
Advantage’s new CEO brings over 30 years of financial industry experience. Grayson first connected with the credit union when her husband worked at GM.
“I always felt like part of the family, even before I started working here,” says Grayson.
Grayson began her career part-time as a teller at Advantage and has moved around within the company over the years. She eventually advanced into IT where she helped develop systems, automation, and technology.
As CEO, it is Grayson’s job to stay on the cutting edge of financial products, services, and technology in order to effectively lead the company’s staff, membership, and financial stability. Above all, Grayson’s favorite part of her job is the opportunities she has to help people.
“At Advantage, we have the ability to adjust and personalize our products and services to help those in tough situations,” says Grayson. “Big banks can’t always do that.”
Two other women serve alongside Grayson in leadership roles at the credit union: Amy Leinard, Chief Operating Officer, and Rachelle Faulds-Zehe, Administrative Assistant.
Grayson is a lifelong resident of the region. She grew up in Mansfield and moved to Ontario when she married. She has two children and four grandchildren.
