Free Overdraft Protection

Overdraft protection is another valuable service Advantage Credit Union offers FREE
to their members!

Free Overdraft protection is important for a variety of reasons:

• Saves you money on fees for non-sufficient funds
• Avoids embarrassment
• May help your credit

Savings Overdraft Protection:

Providing there is sufficient money in your primary savings (01) account to cover a NSF check, the money is automatically transferred to cover the check. A notice is then sent to the member indicating the transfer.

Visa Overdraft Protection:

Members who have an Advantage Credit Union Visa may take advantage of this service by a simple request.  If there is insufficient money in a member's primary savings account to cover a NSF check, a cash advance in the amount of $50, at a minimum, will be taken from the member's Visa and applied to the member's checking account to cover the NSF check. A notice is sent to the member indicating the transfer and it will appear as a cash advance on your Visa statement.
